South Dakota Prairie Agate |
Here is an old favorite back here at the Rock Shed.
This is crushed Prairie Agate / Jasper mix. These rocks
are in varying sizes from 1" to 1 1/4+". This South Dakota
Agate is mostly pastel colors ranging from red to
rose and beige to yellow with other other accenting colors and some cool
banding. These rocks are one-of-a-kind beauties from the plains of South
Dakota. They polish nice and make pretty tumbled stones.

Here is an old favorite that is now back at the Rock Shed in the crushed rock division. This is some very nice, above average quality Amazonite from Brazil. This rock measures from 3/4" to 2+" and has a lovely light Turquoise color. This rock is a Feldspar cousin and may have some Grey Quartz and Black Tourmaline inclusions mixed in with the base rock.
