This 8" lapidary combination polisher/grinder unit has four stainless steel valves to provide independent water flow to each polishing wheel and the expandable drums. A submersible water pump provides flow to the stainless steel valves that control the cooling water recirculation. The stainless steel hood and body has sealed bearings mounted to a 1" stainless steel shaft. A 1/2 HP electric motor drives the shaft from a pulley belt. The end-polishing disc is ideal for final polish and buff using the Poly-Tex quick removable pads with on/off cement.
