Lortone 20" Lap
This is a
precision shaft-driven offset that produces a true orbital action of over
1300 cycles per minute. Get flat, smooth surfaces on geodes, bookends and
slabs quickly and quietly, without the bounce and splash of ordinary
vibrating laps.
The innovative elastomer support system eliminates all of the old
fashioned lap parts - no more springs, balls or cables! The heavy
gauge welded steel frame provides great stability and won't walk around on
the floor or bench.
Includes cast aluminum grind and polish pans. Comes with heavy duty bearings & easy to level adjustable feet.

performance in commercial operations as well as for the hobbyist.
It's front loading
free-standing design allow it to go next to a work bench while the hinged
hood makes loading and setup simple. The safety glass side window allows
convenient monitoring of the cut.
The frame, drive guard,
and tank are constructed of heavy gauge welded steel for years of
trouble-free performance. Slabs material up to 7" x 7" cleanly and easily.
The feed rate is adjustable
from 9 1/2" to 19 1/4" per hour by easily changing pulley ratios.
Standard features include:
