PF-10 Lapidary Slab/Trim Saw complete with Motor

This precision-built lapidary slab/trim saw has a clutch-activated automatic feed control for slabbing that can be used in conjunction with the cross feed indexing vise. Each complete turn of the cross feed handle moves the vise 1/16", with over 2" of cross feed travel. The hardwood vise blocks hold up to 4" of material and can be swung clear for handheld trimming. A toggle switch allows the saw motor to operate independently of the power feed system for manual slabbing or trimming.

The PF-10 accepts 8", 9", and 10" blades. The 12" x 19.5" self-aligning table top is easily removable for blade changes and oil filling. A large coolant tank reduces the need for frequent sludge removal. A 1/3 HP motor drives a heavy-duty 5/8" steel shaft with sealed bearings. Full belt cover is included for operator protection. Baseboard and drain pipe included.

The PF-IO comes with a sheet metal table cover to minimize coolant spray outside of the sawing table area. The cover has a clear top for easy viewing. Includes  303 Professional continuous rim 10" x .040 x 5/8" blade.

We recommend only using oil as a coolant for this lapidary saw.  If water is used as a coolant tank should be drained after each use and a rust inhibitor additive utilized with water (i.e. Tool cool).

Lapidary TS-6 Trim Saw

A faceters' trim saw for both slabs and specimens, this model is ideal for beginners and professionals alike. The large 10" x 11" tabletop provides an excellent working area for use with the rock vise or handheld rock specimens. The self-aligning tabletop mounts to a 4" x 8" x 6" reservoir tank and is easily removable for blade changes, oil filling, and sludge removal. Blade guard is adjustable for 4", 5", or 6" diameter blades. The saw has a 5/8" diameter shaft and permanently sealed high speed bearings.  Shown with trim saw rock vice which is sold separately.

BD-2014 complete with Motor and Stand

The BD-2014 is a portable trim saw incorporating a cooling/flushing system with a removable plastic pan for ease of sludge removal.  It can be used on a folding metal stand or mounted to a table or bench. A rock vise may be added to the saw for mounting on the sliding table and is sold separately.
