Here is a very nice, super quality Gold in matrix from
the long closed Holy Terror Gold Mine in Keystone in the Black Hills of South Dakota. This
gold mine has not had active mining since the 1940s. The very rare
and very cool specimen
has Gold in crystal form as well as tiny Quartz crystals. The high
resolution pictures attempt to show the tiny crystals and Gold scattered
about but don't do it justice. The rock matrix that the Gold is on is
Limestone and it measures nearly 16 mm x 10 mm x 7 mm and is not polished. An amazing

in Leadville from Lake County, Colorado. This very cool Gold specimen measures approximately
1/2" x 1/16" x 1/16". It is mounted in a 1 1/4" square plastic
