$35.00 PN104b  Here is a very pretty sterling Silver Kunzite pendant.  The pretty pale purple Kunzite stone measures over 14mm x 35 mm x 6mm thick.  This pendant measures over 1 7/8" from the top of the bail to the bottom of the setting.  The bail size is 1/4".

Kunzite, or a form of Spodumene is a pyroxene mineral consisting of lithium aluminium inosilicate, and is a source of lithium.  It occurs as colorless to yellowish, purplish, or lilac kunzite, prismatic crystals, often of great size.  Kunzite was discovered at the Pala Chief Mine near San Diego, California and named after gemologist GF Kunz, who first described it after the turn of the twentieth century.  Kunzite is an unusual and rare stone.

This pendant measures 1 5/8" from the top to the bottom of the pendant. Mookaite Jasper is found in Australia and is known for it's vibrant color and great design.

Seraphenite is a rare, dark green mineral from eastern Siberia in Russia.  It has a unique fibrous spreading pattern with a surface that demonstrates an approximation of opalization.  It is also known as Clinochore which is a chlorite Mica.

Rhodocrosite is a Manganese Carbonate mineral. It is typically a rose-red color, but impure specimens can be shades of pink to pale brown. It is used as a key component of low-cost stainless steel and certain Aluminum alloys. Quality banded specimens are often used for decorative stones and jewelry, although it is relatively soft and difficult to cut.

Amethyst is a purple variety of Quartz often used as an ornament. Upon exposure to heat, Amethyst generally becomes yellow, which some refer to as Citrine or "burnt" Amethyst. It occurs in color from a light, slightly pinkish violet to a deep grape purple. It is widely distributed as an ornamental stone, but fine, clear specimens that are suitable for cutting are used in jewelry.

Lapis is a stone with a long tradition of being considered a gem.  It is usually deep blue in color and is opaque.  It is a rock and not a mineral as it is made up from various other minerals.  The main component is Lazurite which is a Feldspar Silicate.  Lapis may also contain Calcite, Sodalite and Pyrite.  It is found worldwide.

Rose Quartz is a type of Quartz which exhibits a pale pink to rose red hue.  The color is usually considered as due to trace amounts of Titanium, Iron or Manganese, in the massive material.  Some Rose Quartz contains microscopic Rutile needles which produce an asterism in transmitted light.

Larimar is also called "Stefilia's Stone", is a rare blue variety of pectolite found only in the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean. Its coloration varies from white, light-blue, green-blue to deep blue

$28.00 PN109b Here is a gorgeous 18mm x 20mm Blue Lace Agate sterling silver pendant. This pendant measures over 1 1/4" from the top to the bottom of the pendant. The bail size is 1/4".

Agates mostly occur as nodules in volcanic rocks or waters containing Silica in solution which is possibly derived from the decomposition of Silicates in the lava. The Siliceous matter is deposited in regular layers resulting in the banded or striped formation. It is very unlikely that you would ever find an exact duplicate of any type of Agate, Brazilian or other.
