PN104B This is a very pretty sterling Silver
pendant with a 18 mm x 26 mm Carnelian Agate stone. This pendant measures nearly 2" from the top of the bail to the
bottom of the setting. The bail size is 1/4".
Agates mostly occur as nodules in
volcanic rocks or waters containing Silica in solution which is possibly
derived from the decomposition of Silicates in the lava. The Siliceous
matter is deposited in regular layers resulting in the banded or striped
formation. It is very unlikely that you would ever find an exact
duplicate of any type of Agate, Brazilian or other.

This is a very pretty Silver
plated pendant with a 32mm x 30 mm Sodalite stone. This pendant measures
1 1/2" from the top of the bail to the
bottom of the setting. The bail size is 1/4". This pendant has gorgeous
and would make a good gift. Sodalite is a rich royal blue mineral
enjoyed as an ornamental stone. Although massive samples are opaque,
Crystals are usually transparent to translucent. It is very similar to
Lapis but with out the Pyrite Crystals and distinguishable color
differences. It makes great jewelry, cabochons an beads. |

This is a very nice Seraphenite pendant set in a sterling silver setting.
The cabochon measures 30 mm x 20 mm. This pendant measures over 2" from
the top of the bail to the bottom of the setting. The bail size is 1/4".
Seraphenite is a rare, dark green mineral from eastern Siberia in
Russia. It has a unique fibrous spreading pattern with a surface that
demonstrates an approximation of opalization. It is also known as
Clinochore which is a chlorite Mica.

This is a very pretty sterling Silver pendant with a 3/4" in length
and 1 1/4" in height Tourmalated Quartz
Cabochon in a very nice setting. This pendant measures 2" from
the top of the bail to the bottom of the setting. The bail size is
1/4".
Quartz is the second most common mineral in the Earth's continental
crust. It is mainly composed of Silica or Silica based minerals.
Although Quartz is known by a variety of names, the most important
distinction between types of Quartz is that of macro-crystalline,
individual crystals visible to the unaided eye, and micro-crystalline,
where aggregates of crystals are only visible under high magnification.
There are many forms of Quartz including Chalcedony, Amethyst, Citrine,
and Carnelian which are results of mineral impurities or heat treatments. |

Here is a very nice Brecciated Jasper pendant resting in a very
nice sterling Silver setting. The Brecciated Jasper cabochon
measures 3/4" in length and 1 1/4" in height. This pendant measures
1 3/4" from the top of the
bail to the bottom of the setting. The bail size is 1/4".
Jasper, or spotted stone, is an opaque, impure variety of Quartz
that is usually red, yellow or brown in color. Picture Jaspers
simultaneously exhibit several variants such as banding, flow patterns,
dendrites or color variations. This results in what appears to be scenes
or images in a cut section of the Jasper.

This is a very pretty Silver
plated pendant with a 30 mm x 40 mm Unakite stone. This pendant measures
2" from the top of the bail to the
bottom of the setting. The bail size is 1/4".
Unakite is an altered Granite composed of pink Feldspar, green Epidote
and clear Quartz. It exists in various shades of green and pink and is
usually mottled in appearance. Good quality Unakite is considered a
semiprecious stone and will take a good polish and is often used in
jewelry and other lapidary work such as eggs, spheres and carvings. |

This is a very nice Black Skin Agate Pendant with a gold colored bail. The pendant measures
2" from the top of the stone to the bottom of the stone, and measures
1 1/4" from side to side. The bail size is nearly 1/4". Great
color and banding! This piece was made at The Rock Shed.

with a smooth surface and is used for ornamentation or as a gemstone. It
can be highly polished and is used for vases, seals, and other decorative

Here is a nice, tear shaped Rose Quartz sterling Silver pendant.
The cabochon measures 21 mm x 21 mm. The pendant measures 1 3/8" from the
top of the bail to the bottom of the setting. The bail size is 1/4".
This would make a nice gift for the lovely lady in your life. Rose
Quartz is a type of Quartz which exhibits a pale pink to rose red hue.
The color is usually considered as due to trace amounts of Titanium, Iron
or Manganese, in the massive material. Some Rose Quartz contains microscopic
Rutile needles which produce an asterism in transmitted light.
