Rocks - 4" Gem Trim Saw
This is the "handy man" of little saws: will trim
small slabs - will trim faceting material with a minimum if loss - will
split opal - will nick baroques or small slabs for use with jump rings
and epoxy adhesive, in place of bell caps and many other uses. The motor
is strong enough to get the job done but still will stall if you use too
much pressure (making for greater safety and longer blade life). Use
with top table and cut past the arbor or remove the top table to cut
thicker pieces. Can be used with oil or a water base coolant.

Rock's - The Bull Wheel
The Bull Wheel is a time tested grinding machine that
gets the job done fast. It can do in minutes what it takes hours for
other machines to do. Ideal for slabs, nub ends, chunks, book ends,
nodules halves, geode halves, shelf specimens, etc...
A Note about this machine
and our lapidary shop - This is the machine we use to polish
geodes, petrified wood specimens, and other flat cut rock specimens off
of our saws. We use a vibrating lap to remove the saw marks from
the saw. Then all we have to do is a quick dry sand step on
the bull wheel to bring up a nice smooth sanded gloss. We then
polish them on carpet on our vibrating lap. A quick process that
works great for us with a minimal amount of hand work.
