This is a polished Slab from an Utah Septarian Nodule. It measures 7
1/2" x 5 1/2" x 1/2". This one has lots of Brown Aragonite with contrasting
Yellow Calcite and a beautiful polish.
Septarians are commonly composed of a carbonate mineral such as Calcite,
a microcrystalline form of Silica as in Flint or Jasper, or an Iron Oxide
such as Hematite. These specimens are also known as a concretion which
is a type of sedimentary rock.
Septarians were formed millions of years ago by sediment forming around
a fossil to create a mud ball transforming the fossil into Calcite and Aragonite.

nice Sphere carved from a Septarian Nodule. This material is from
Utah. It measures 3" with a nice polish. The sphere has
pretty Yellow Calcite and Brown Aragonite. It is unusual as it has
fossil parts mixed in. A must have for any collection.

Here is a larger, beautiful Septarian Stand
up in the shape of a flame. It has
very nice Yellow Calcite and accents of Brown Aragonite and a beautiful
crystal cavity. It measures 6" x 6 3/4" x 3 1/4". The Flame has a
very nice polish and would make a great
gift. A very nice display piece for the Septarian collector.

This is a pretty Brown and Black Buffalo carved from Picasso Marble
which originates in Utah. It measures nearly 3 7/8" nose to tail and
2 5/8" tall. It has a nice polish and is 1" in thickness. A beautiful
carving. |

This is an awesome Septarian Free Form carved from a Septarian
Nodule
originating from Utah. The Free Form has an awesome sparkly crystal cavity.
This large Septarian specimen measures 7 1/4" x 6 1/4" x 4" and has a nice polish.
There is one small edge section of the crystal cavity broken off (on the bottom right
in the picture as shown to the right). It still
displays nicely but our price does reflect the minor flaw.
The Free Form weighs nearly 6 lbs and has felt on the bottom to keep
from marring surfaces it rests on. A very beautiful carving indeed!

Egg. It measures 2" x 2". This material is from Madagascar Septarian
material. The Egg has a large amount of Golden Yellow Calcite and Brown
