Agates mostly occur as nodules in volcanic rocks or waters containing Silica in solution which is possibly derived from the decomposition of Silicates in the lava.  The Siliceous matter is deposited in regular layers resulting in the banded or striped formation.  It is very unlikely that you would ever find an exact duplicate of any type of Agate, Fairburn or other.

Crinoids, also known as sea lilies or feather stars, are marine animals that belong to a class of Echinoderms.  They lived in both shallow and deep water.  They are characterized by a mouth on the top surface that is surrounded by feeding arms.  Crinoids usually have a stem used to attach themselves to a substrate, but many live attached only as juveniles and become free-swimming as adults. There are only a few hundred known modern forms, but crinoids were much more numerous both in species and numbers in the past. Some thick Limestone beds dating to the mid- to late-Paleozoic are entirely made up of disarticulated crinoid fragments.

Pyrite, or Iron Pyrite, is an Iron sulfide with isometric Crystals that usually appear as cubes.  It is brittle and can break or powder easily.  Its metallic luster and brass yellow hue have earned it the nickname of "fool's gold" due to many miners mistaken it for the real thing.  Ironically, small quantities of actual gold are sometimes found in Pyrite.  It is the most common of the sulfide minerals and is usually found with other sulfides or oxides in Quartz veins, sedimentary or metamorphic rocks.

Marble is a metamorphic rock consisting of Limestone but mostly composed of Calcite.  It is used extensively for sculpture, building material and has many decorative uses.  The pure white Marble is probably the most common form known, but the characteristic swirls and veins of many colored Marble varieties are usually due to various mineral impurities such as Clay, Silt, Sand, Iron Oxides or Chert.

The term "shungite" was originally used in 1879 to describe a mineraloid with more than 98 percent carbon.  More recently the term has also been used to describe shungite-bearing rocks, leading to some confusion.  Shungite has to date mainly been found in Russia.  Shungite has been used in medical treatment since the early 18th-century.   "Peter the Great" set up Russia's first spa to utilize the water purifying properties of shungite and instigated its use in providing purified water for the Russian army.   The anti-bacterial properties of shungite have been confirmed by modern testing.
