jasper

Small Serape Jasper

This is a new find; small crushed Serape Jasper from Mexico.  This new item to the Rock Shed has good color mix in various striped colors and is named after the famous Mexican serape, a garment often made from a striped blanket. The colorful pieces range in size from 1/4" to 3/4".  This is great rock for the tumbler or use it as is for fountains or other decorative uses.  Due to the smaller size of this material, there will be some thin pieces that may not work well for tumbling.  We have reduced the price for this reason.

Mini Laguna Agates

Here's a fun new material for those of you who are looking for some adventure. These Mini Laguna Agates have the potential to be a beautiful Agate. They also have the potential to be a "dud". The ultimate grab bag here. While there may be broken piece or half of a nodule included, most of these Agates have just a small window in them showing some banding while others may have no window in them at all. They truly range from maybe a rock destined for the garbage bin to a beautiful fully banded beauty. We cut about 15 Agates and have selected the worst and the best to show the range. They are bagged as they come from the barrel. They range from 3/4" to up to 2' in diameter. Good Luck!
